    Distinctive, earthy, beautiful color

Purple ginger has an earthier, more medicinal note than regular ginger and a color that shows in broths and teas. We use it in a house ginger tea and a braise. Not something we could find anywhere else in bulk.

Our customers love the color and the flavor in a ginger-turmeric blend. Clean, well dried, no mustiness.

Hana K. · Tea and wellness shop · Honolulu, HI

  • Fascinating ingredient. More camphor and less sweet heat than regular ginger. Took some experimenting but it makes a beautiful tea.
